
Joint Account Access
Joint Account Access gives you the opportunity to manage and monitor your Ascend accounts, all under one log-in. Log in to your account to see what accounts you can access or just enjoy the convenience of a single login option for all your Ascend needs.

- How do I add an additional joint account owner?
Visit an Ascend branch with the person(s) you would like to add to the account and complete the necessary paperwork.
- How do I determine what joint account owners I have on my account(s)?
Visit an Ascend branch where one of our team members can assist you with that information.
- Can business account owners see their business and personal accounts under one login?
Yes. Members will be able to view both business accounts and personal accounts under one login.
Note: Additional business services such as business check deposits are only available using the business account login credentials.
- Can I unhide or restore an account so they show in online banking or the app?
Yes
- Log in to online banking at ascend.org from a computer or mobile browser.
- Click “My Settings” within the account widget.
- Scroll down to “Other Settings” and select the “Rename & Hide your accounts” option
- Check the box next to the share or loan you would like to hide from the My Accounts widget.
- Can I hide accounts so they do not show up in online banking or the app?
Yes
- Log in to online banking at ascend.org. from a computer or mobile browser.
- Click “My Settings” within the account widget.
- Scroll down to “Other Settings” and select the “Rename & Hide your accounts” option
- Uncheck the box next to the share or loan you would like to hide from the My Accounts widget.
Note: Once account is hidden from the “My Accounts” view, you will no longer see the account as an option to transfer money to or from and scheduled recurring transfers will stop.
- Can joint account owners access online statements?
No. Only the primary account holder has access to online statements.
- Is remote deposit capture available for joint account holders in the Ascend app?
Yes. Remote deposit capture is available and can be used to deposit checks to applicable accounts that they are a joint account holder on.
- Can I reorder or rearrange my accounts?
Yes.
- Log in to online banking at ascend.org from a computer or a mobile browser.
- Click “My Settings” within the account widget.
- Scroll down to “Other Settings” and select the “Rename & Hide your accounts” option.
- Click on the icon by the share/loan to drag the account up or down in the list.

- What if I currently live out of state or traveling and can’t visit an Ascend branch?
Please call 800-342-3086 and speak to a member service representative to discuss alternative options.
- Can the joint account owner receive their own login to access the account(s)?
Yes. Joint owners who do not have their own primary account with Ascend can obtain their own login credentials by calling 800-342-3086 or visiting an Ascend branch. To find your nearest location visit https://ascend.org/locations
Joint owners who have their own primary account and are enrolled in the online banking service will simply login using their account username/password and any joint shares/loans will be displayed.
- Can I remove a joint account owner online or by calling 800-342-3086?
No. You will need to visit an Ascend branch. To find your nearest location visit ascend.org/locations.
- How do I remove the joint account owner from having access to the account?
