Ready to Open an Account?

If you're not already an Ascend member, you can join and open an account online. Before you begin, make sure you have the items and information listed below.
 

1. Social Security number, current address and phone number.

2. Government-issued driver's license, state ID, or military ID.

3. Account information to fund your account via credit/debit card or bank account.

4. Previous address if at current address less than two years.

5. Applicants must be 18 years of age and U.S. residents.
 

Youth and Certificate accounts can be opened with an Ascend representative, either at a branch or through a virtual appointment. These account types are not available through the online application. Find a branch or schedule your virtual appointment today.
