- Can the joint account owner receive their own login to access the account(s)?
Yes. Joint owners who do not have their own primary account with Ascend can obtain their own login credentials by calling 800-342-3086 or visiting an Ascend branch. To find your nearest location visit ascend.org/locations.
Joint owners who have their own primary account and are enrolled in our digital banking service will simply login using their account username and password, where any joint shares or loans will be displayed.
- Can joint account owners access online statements?
No. Only the primary account holder has access to online statements.
- Is remote deposit capture available for joint account holders in the Ascend app?
Yes. Remote deposit capture is available and can be used to deposit checks to applicable accounts that they are a joint account holder on.
- Can I reorder or rearrange my accounts?
Yes.
- Log in to digital banking at ascend.org from a computer or a mobile browser
- Click “My Settings” within the account widget
- Scroll down to “Other Settings” and select the “Rename & Hide your accounts” option
- Click on the icon by the share/loan to drag the account up or down in the list

- Can I hide accounts so they do not show up in digital banking or the app?
Yes.
- Log in to online banking at ascend.org. from a computer or mobile browser
- Click “My Settings” within the account widget
- Scroll down to “Other Settings” and select the “Rename & Hide your accounts” option
- Uncheck the box next to the share or loan you would like to hide from the My Accounts widget
Note: Once account is hidden from the “My Accounts” view, you will no longer see the account as an option to transfer money to or from and scheduled recurring transfers will stop.
- What methods of alert are available?
Ascend's digital banking offers email, SMS/text and push notifications for all alerts.
- Can I set an alert reminder when I have a loan payment due?
Yes. Loan due alerts are available by visiting the alerts menu.
- What is a security alert?
A security alert allows you to be notified via email, SMS/text or push notification if suspicious activity takes place on your account.
