Community matters at Ascend, and we’re proud that this year we’re prioritizing Middle Tennessee institutions whose values and commitment to service align with our own.

We will be making several donations through our Charitable Donation Account (CDA) in 2022, and our first donation has been made to the Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee! This donation not only helped bring April’s Girl Scout Summit to fruition, it will help with expenses related to May’s Annual Girl Scouts Golf Tournament, provide scholarships for campers this summer and develop a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion program this fall.

The CDA was established as a hybrid charitable and investment vehicle through which NCUA allows purchases of otherwise impermissible investments for the primary purpose of generating additional funds in support of charitable endeavors. Ascend is committed to maximizing these efforts to their fullest extent as we partner with our Middle Tennessee communities for a better tomorrow.
