- How do I dispute a charge on my account?
We must be made aware of disputed or fraudulent/unauthorized transaction within 60 days of that month’s statement date. A dispute is processed depending on the method used to clear the original transaction. Please contact us by phone at 800-342-3086 or in person for additional assistance.
- How do I report a lost or stolen ATM, debit, or credit card?
To report your credit card lost or stolen, or if you have questions about disputing a transaction or a dispute in progress, please contact the credit union at 800-342-3086.
- How do I stay secure while using digital banking?
There are several effective security techniques that we encourage you to implement when you use digital banking.
- Never reveal your password to anyone or leave your password anywhere that someone else can obtain and use it.
- Change your password on a regular basis.
- Use the Exit button to end each digital banking session — do not use the Back button to exit the site.
- Balance your account on a regular basis.
- I'm unsure about using Zelle® to pay someone I don't know. What should I do?
If you don't know the person, or aren't sure you will get what you paid for (for example, items bought from an online bidding or sales site), you should not use Zelle® for these types of transactions.
These transactions are potentially high risk (just like sending cash to a person you don't know is high risk). Neither Ascend nor Zelle® offers a protection program for any authorized payments made with Zelle® – for example, if you do not receive the item you paid for or the item is not as described or as you expected.
- What is a security alert?
A security alert allows you to be notified via email, SMS/text or push notification if suspicious activity takes place on your account.
- How do I report fraudulent activity on my credit card?
To report fraudulent activity on your credit card, please call 888-918-7313 or you may call the credit union at 800-342-3086.
- How do I report my credit card as lost or stolen after hours?
To report a lost or stolen Ascend card, please call 800-342-3086 during normal business hours. After business hours, please call 866-609-7654.
- What happens if I respond “no” to an Automated Fraud Alert?
If you do not recognize the transaction and reply “no,” you will receive an additional response prompting you to contact the Fraud Detection Department at 888-918-7313.
