- How often does Ascend give out scholarships?
We give out scholarships yearly.
- Do I have to be a member of Ascend to qualify for a scholarship?
Yes. All scholarship applicants must be members of Ascend. Previous Ascend scholarship winners may reapply if they still meet the program requirements.
- Do I have to meet specific age or grade requirements to qualify for a scholarship?
For complete requirements and to access the application, visit ascend.org/scholarships in late December or early January.
- Are there any eligibility restrictions to receive the scholarship?
To be eligible for the Ascend Federal Credit Union Scholarship Program, you must:
- be a member of Ascend Federal Credit Union.
- plan to enroll or prove enrollment as a full-time student at an accredited college, university, technical, or trade school in pursuit of an associate, bachelor's, master's, or other advanced-degree program in the next academic year.
Ascend Federal Credit Union employees, officials, and members of their immediate families and household members of each (whether related or not) are not eligible. Immediate family includes parent, spouse, children, grandchildren and stepchildren. Household members include people who share the same residence at least three months a year.
