- I need a new Ascend Debit/ATM/HSA card. Do I need to visit an office?
If you need a replacement debit card, you may visit your local Ascend branch with a valid photo ID to have a new card instantly issued*. Otherwise, a replacement card will need to be ordered. Please contact us at 800-342-3086 to order your card. Any ATM card orders are processed through our Card Services Department with your card arriving by mail or to the branch of your choice within seven to 10 business days.
*As of March 2023, our instant issue service is temporarily unavailable.

- Do you offer accounts for minors?
At Ascend our brand promise is to educate and help all members become effective financial stewards. In an effort to reach our youngest members and help them create wise saving and spending habits early, we offer number of youth account options. For more information, visit our Youth Accounts page.
- What happens to my Ascend Youth Account when I turn 25?
At 25, you are no longer eligible for an Ascend youth account. If you have a Preferred or Legacy checking account, you can keep it. However, there will be a fee for any checks you order. Also, you will no longer be automatically entered into an annual drawing for $1,000 if you have an active checking account, Visa credit card and online statements. - Can I transfer money from my account to my child's youth account?
Yes, you can transfer money to your child's youth account if you are joint owner on the account and you have established cross-account transfer. You can transfer funds with Ascend's app, online banking, on the telephone, or in person at a branch.
- Can I open a youth account online?
To open a youth account, you will need to visit an Ascend branch location. Schedule an appointment today.
