- Does Ascend offer retirement accounts?
Ascend offers certificate accounts and Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs). We also provide members with no initial cost, no obligation access to Ascend Retirement and Investment Services.* Here are just a few things an Ascend Retirement and Investment Services* representative can help you accomplish: Roll over your 401(k)/pension if you’ve changed jobs; develop an investment plan; protect your family with life insurance; plan to pay for long-term care; and create a retirement income plan. - What is the relationship between CUNA Mutual Group and Ascend?
CUNA Mutual Group is Ascend's provider for various insurance products including credit life insurance, credit disability insurance, whole life insurance and term life insurance. It is also our provider for Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) and Mechanical Repair Coverage (MRC).

- Is there a limit on the number of IRA rollovers that can be done?
Yes, an IRA holder can make only one rollover from an IRA to another (or the same) IRA in any 12-month period, regardless of the number of IRAs you own. The limit will apply by aggregating all of an individual’s IRAs, including SEP and SIMPLE IRAs as well as traditional and Roth IRAs, effectively treating them as one IRA for purposes of the limit.
