Ascend Federal Credit Union Welcomes New Chief Legal Officer

Ascend Federal Credit Union is pleased to welcome Jill Guidicy as its new senior vice president and chief legal officer.

Guidicy has practiced law for more than 23 years in both private and corporate settings, specializing in regulatory compliance, employment and corporate governance.

The Crystal City, Missouri, native earned a bachelor of arts degree and juris doctorate degree from the University of Missouri. She clerked for Justice Rosemary Barkett on the 11th Circuit Federal Court of Appeals in Miami before serving nine years in private practice. She spent an additional 13 years in-house, including as General Counsel for Prestige Cruise Holdings, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises and as Assistant General Counsel for Video Gaming Technologies and Norwegian Cruise Lines Holdings.

In her new role, Guidicy oversees Ascend’s Legal and Fraud and Security departments. She is responsible for all legal affairs and serves as a member of Ascend’s senior management team. She recently earned the title of NAFCU Certified Compliance Officer (NCCO).

“I’m excited to be here,” Guidicy said. “I love the team, and I’m looking forward to making a positive impact.”

Guidicy and her husband Robin reside in Tullahoma, Tennessee. They have two daughters and four grandchildren.
